An in-depth article about Project Pressure by the Guardian’s environment editor features in today’s edition of The Observer.

Some Himalayan glaciers have actually grown during the past decades, according to a report in the journal Nature Geoscience. We took along a BBC-quality recorder with us on our 2012 Nepal expedition, and spoke to some of the scientists trying to get better data from the mountains.

During our recent Uganda & Congo expedition we re-discovered glaciers on the Congo side of the Rwenzori Mountains. The area had not been explored for decades. Wired writer Ian Daly travelled with us and wrote this in-depth feature about the expedition.

Departing for Nepal this week. The glaciers we will be documenting have been selected together with scientists from WGMS & ICMOD. One of the glaciers has not yet been named.

Project Pressure’s expedition to Uganda & Congo is featured prominently on the BBC today.
